The PRSC-EO1 (Pakistan Remote Sensing Satellite - Earth Observation 1) is Pakistan's first domestically produced observation satellite. Launched on 17 January 2025, from China's Jiuquan Satellite Launch Centre.

History

The PRSC-EO1 satellite is the result of a collaborative effort between Pakistan's Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) and China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC). The project began several years ago to developed Pakistan's first indigenous Earth observation satellite.
