It is surrounded by the villages of Katouna, Kompotí, Aetos and Papadatou.
A recently discovered cave with stalactites and stalagmites lies in the center of the village but is fully closed to the public with no plans of opening it up for visits. Other minor sights include the churches of Agioi Apostoloi and Agios Efthymios, both from around 1700.
