1Z Entertainment (also known as "The Zone") is a Philippine-based entertainment and talent management agency established in June 2023 by the internationally recognized Filipino pop group, SB19. The agency was created to empower Filipino artists, expand the reach of P-pop (Pinoy pop), and promote Filipino culture on a global stage. The name "1Z" signifies One Zone, symbolizing unity and a shared mission to elevate Filipino talent worldwide.
History
1Z Entertainment was founded in June 2023 by SB19, a P-pop group that gained global recognition through their impactful music and performances. The group, composed of John Paulo Nase (PABLO), Stellvester Ajero (Stell), Felip Jhon Suson (Felip), Josh Cullen Santos, and Justin de Dios, established the agency to provide a platform for Filipino artists to thrive and elevate the Philippine entertainment industry.
The name “1Z,” meaning "One Zone," reflects the agency’s mission to unite and build a supportive community for artists from all walks of life. Following their success, including international tours and recognition, SB19 envisioned the agency as an avenue for discovering and nurturing new talent.
In 2023, W3 (also known as "WE"), formerly know as "Skouts" is a renowned dance group led by choreographer Jay Roncesvalles, officially joined 1Z Entertainment. Known for their dynamic performances, W3 (WE) represents the agency’s commitment to supporting diverse talents in the entertainment industry, a firm backbone to all the performance stages of SB19.
In June 10, 2024, 1Z Entertainment announced that they are actively searching for their first P-pop girl group, marking an important milestone in their journey to diversify their artist roster and expand their influence in the Philippine entertainment scene.
