Okay, You Win

At least one american has a brain. (that was a compliment) My band will be releasing it's album in the next couple of days if a picture of our band's album cover, track listing, length and record company is added will that be considered notable? yours, Zac

Sorry

Hey, sorry to bother you, I just want to try, what a joke! And, can you be my admin, please. Please, I am so lonely. user:holmes.sherlock P.L.S. replly me on my talk page.

Dirty South

Hi, the page on Dirty South just got deleted by you for Notability reasons, can you please restore it? I have added details about his notability in the Australian dance scene on its talk page. Regards. 2kvai777 02:06, 2 July 2007 (UTC)

Dachshund

Thanks for removing the graffiti from the dachshund page - can't believe I missed it - I was looking after that page and removed some other vandalism but missed that bit. Erwinloh 04:05, 2 July 2007 (UTC)

My RfA

Thank you for participating in my RfA. It was successful, and I am now, may God have mercy on us all, an administrator. Look at all the new buttons! I had heard about 'protect,' 'block user,' and 'delete,' but no one told me about 'kill,' 'eject,' and 'purée.' I appreciate the trust the community has in me, and I'll try hard not to delete the main page or block Jimbo. -FisherQueen (Talk) 17:44, 2 July 2007 (UTC)

New Orleans is my favorite city in the world. Are you still there? If so, how are things coming along? -jake

Ronnie Tay

Hi,

Regards Ronnie Tay, are all high military ranks automatically notable and is there a (informal) policy or guideline on this at one of the wikiprojects? Or is the problem more that it shouldn't be a prod, it should be an AFD based on sources? I know there's sub-policies for specific types of bios (porn stars, academics), I'm wondering if I'm not aware of a similar rule of thumb for military ranks it or it's more I used the wrong process. It'll impact some other articles I prodded, so I'd like to know for future reference. Google search on "Ronnie Tay" turns up 718 hits, with the top three being this link and 2[REDACTED] pages. The rest of the top 10 are mentions in articles or very short articles in local papers (example, example). In my mind this fails WP:BIO, but I'm not sure if it's enough to cover both these sentences:

If the depth of coverage is not substantial, then multiple independent sources may need to be cited to establish notability; Trivial coverage of a subject by secondary sources may not be sufficient to establish notability.

Thanks for any advice you can give on this,

I did decline a speedy request on Ng Chee Khern; it seemed to me that Chief of Staff of Singapore's Air Force was at least an assertion of notability. There are bunch of these quasinotable people from one user. A group AfD would be possible, but some of them may be more notable than others... -FisherQueen (Talk) 16:43, 4 July 2007 (UTC)

(To Nawlin) Thanks for dropping me a line on my talk page and no hard feelings on the disagreement. I've long held that even though I'm usually right, I am not always right, and every AFD I learn something new. WLU 20:41, 4 July 2007 (UTC)

VFD

i don't feel my VFD page should've been deleted. they were a very important jokecore band, even thought obscure, the influenced Horse the band a shit load. there was no page for Vanquish For Disaster, so i made one according to the best of my knowledge(being my band Foreknown, and i've since kept in contact with their lead vocalist, as well as there label, Fable Records) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Slippycup (talkcontribs)

Brislington Enterprise College

Thanks for removing the speedy delete from Brislington Enterprise College following my changes to this article - however the original user has now returned to their original poor version - any ideas about appropriate action?— Rod 14:25, 5 July 2007 (UTC)

Fog City Hammerheads

I don't understand why was the Fog City Hammerhead page was deleted. I don't understand what was your problem with it. Tell me why it is not notable. And explain why are the pages under this link are notable. http://en.wikipedia.org/Category:Swim_teams

Your summary for a speedy deletion

"Implausible typo, see Amusement Park (song)}}' (and the only contributor was 'Efil4tselaer: Resurrected"

I hope you don't mean I created this redirect, do you? Because it was not me, it was a user who already created another redirect of the same kind, called "Curtis (50 Cunt album)", for Curtis (50 Cent album). I await your reply. --- Realest4Life 21:59, 5 July 2007 (UTC)

All right. --- Realest4Life 22:03, 5 July 2007 (UTC)

Skateboarding brands

Actually do you think Littlepaw has a chance of being notable after all? Maybe if it's created again someone should prod it. -WarthogDemon 03:52, 7 July 2007 (UTC)

I decided to prod it and see what happens. I'll watch the page. If something significant doesn't happen within 24 hours, I'll db it. Would that be good? -WarthogDemon 03:58, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
Okay. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't just someone trying genuinely hard to make a good article but wasn't sure how. (In fact I know little about skateboards . . . it took my cousin 20 minutes just to teach me how to SIT on one...) -WarthogDemon 04:04, 7 July 2007 (UTC)

why dont you let me finish the article it was almost ready......

if it is by the sources i was going to add it again let me finish the article.......... —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Damawesomedan (talkcontribs). -WarthogDemon 03:59, 7 July 2007 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of ShovelGlove

Okay, I'll dig up some sources on notability. How do I get my text back, please? P.S. Where should I place my notability references? On the talk page? Thanks. --Irrevenant 04:02, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
