Islamica Corporation is an "identity-centric" organization founded in Chicago, Illinois. Islamica's products include apparel, accessories and media marketed towards Muslim youth and cultural fusion. Islamica differentiates itself from other Muslim organizations by focusing on an emerging generation of Muslims in non-Muslim environments. As many Muslims found themselves in a reactionary state in the aftermath of 9/11, Islamica continued with its founding vision of providing young Muslims with a vitally-needed identity. Islamica's apparel offers Muslims to express their identity through contemporary styles and humorous messages.

Founded in 1999 by Mirza Baig, Azher Ahmed and Afeef Abdul-Majeed, Islamica was the first company to address the needs of an emerging generation of Muslims. Islamica has grown and established itself as the premiere outlet for style and comedy amongst Muslims.

Islamica Magazine is a quarterly magazine with worldwide distribution. The staff aims to broaden perspectives on traditional Islam and to provide a voice for Muslims to articulate their concerns while establishing cross-cultural relations between Muslims and their neighbors and co-religionists. The magazine is produced in English and draws from leading academic scholars from both Muslim and Non-Muslim worlds.

History
The magazine was first published in 1992 and re-launched in 2004. It was launched as a journal by Sohail Nakhooda, Tariq Kazi, Najma Jaweed, and others at the Islamic Society of the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). The Islamic Society of LSE had an intellectually vibrant scene in the early 1990s and the creation of the magazine was a natural culmination of their campus work in promoting a more engaging Islamic discourse amongst university-educated Muslims. Being a campus initiative, albeit sold internationally, it meant that once its team graduated that the project could not be sustainable. It therefore suspended publication for three years. However, the tragic events of September 11th, 2001 led to dire need for mainstream, orthodox and authentic Islamic voices and a new team was formed and Islamica was relaunched as a full color magazine of opinion and analysis.

The magazine's offices are located in the USA, UK and Jordan with printing done in Turkey. The periodical contains glossy pages with beautiful photography and layout, running about 160 pages.
