Al Hidayah (Organisation)

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Al Hidayah (Organisation) fits the criteria for speedy deletion for the following reason:

re: Comments on my talk page.

Walaikum salam akhi,
I have to say I was a bit shocked by your message to me. Please refrain from comments such as "what is wrong with you," "what is your problem," and "you need to be more open minded". The official Misplaced Pages:No personal attacks and Misplaced Pages:Civility policies are relevant here.
As far as me supposedly editing pages in reference to him "in a negative manner" and that he "challenges my point of view" I believe you need to review the ] behavioral guideline.
In regard to you not letting me or anyone else edit certain pages, I believe you need to review the official Misplaced Pages:Ownership of articles policy. We are all free to help improve upon this site and it is not for an editor to decide who else is allowed to edit or not.
Now, the meat of the issue, honestly I did not know that. I have never heard of him before you created the article on him, was not aware that the "head of al-Azhar" holds him in such high esteem or that one scholar from Deoband respects him. Obviously he is notable enough to warrant his own article as I have seen the number of books he has authored and his activities in da'wah, but that he is one of "the greatest scholars of this time" is an opinion, and there are a number of present day scholars who have recieved more coverage and thus are more notable, and this goes double for both Br. Tahir and others in regard to the scholars of the past.
In short, I think you should step back for a bit and relax. Nobody is trying to attack the man, we are just trying to keep things neutral. MezzoMezzo 23:07, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
