John Francis Xavier Mulaney (born 1982, Dorchester, Massachusetts) is an American comedian, actor, dramatist and comedic actor. Orphaned at age three, Mulaney was raised at the Don Bosco School and Home for Boys in West Roxbury, Massachusetts. He received both a bachelor's and a master's degrees in Fine Arts at the Rhode Island School of Design.

Mulaney performs stand-up comedy to packed audiences throughout North America. He is most well known as a regular cast member on VH1's Best Week Ever. He has also appeared on Late Night with Conan O'Brian and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

Mulaney lives in Brooklyn, New York and is a tireless advocate for stem cell research.

Trivia

  • Was once denied boarding on a British Airways flight to London because he refused to change out of the "Osama is my bitch" t-shirt he was wearing.
  • Is a high priest in the (reform) Santeria church and is licensed to legally preside over gay marriage wedding ceremonies in his native Massachusetts.
