Potty parity is the nickname of a law aimed at remedying the age old problem of long lines at the ladies' restrooms of public places such as theaters, stadiums, and gigs. Women generally spend twice as much time in the restroom as men (). Current laws require a 1-1 ratio of male and female restrooms in public buildings. Proponents of the potty parity law would like to see the ratio adjusted to two female restroom facilities for every one of the males.
