Born in Barre, Vermont, Dubie is the author of over twenty books, often assuming hitorical personas in his works. Dubie's poetry has been included major journals of poetry including: "The New Yorker", "Ploughshares" and "The Paris Review", as well as the "Norton Anthology of Modern Poetry".
