Marcus Berg (born 17 August, 1986 in Torsby) is a Swedish football striker who currently represents FC Groningen. He is nicknamed Svarte-Marcus due to scoring a lot of goals in the junior teams, in reference to Filip 'Svarte-Filip' Johansson.

After playing for a local club and Torsby IF, he joined IFK Göteborg in 2003, a club he played for until 2007. His older brother Jonatan Berg also plays for the club.

On the 10th of August 2007, it was announced that Dutch side FC Groningen would be signing Marcus Berg for a reported £2,500,000 to replace the departing AFC Ajax-bound Luis Suárez. The 5-0 away victory over Kalmar FF where Berg scored, was his last for the club because of his suspension for the game against Djurgården. He received a standing ovation upon leaving the field. Even though he left Göteborg in the middle of the Swedish football season, with only 17 out of 26 games played, he still became Allsvenskan's top scorer with 14 goals. Göteborg won the league that season.
