Ricardo Vaz-Te (born October 1, 1986 in Lisbon, Portugal) is a Portuguese footballer who currently plays as a striker for Bolton Wanderers of the English Premier League.

Vaz-Te first came to England in 2003 following a spell in the junior teams of the Sporting Farense club in his homeland. His performances on trial with Bolton prompted them to sign him on a three-year youth academy contract.

However, such was the impression made at youth level, he found himself as part of the Bolton first-team squad, making his debut in their F.A Cup duels with Tranmere Rovers in January 2004.

Just over two months later he made his Premiership debut for Bolton in their 2-0 defeat at Middlesbrough F.C and has remained on the verges of the first team since then, making a first full start in the game with Manchester United at Old Trafford on Boxing Day 2004.

In the summer of 2005 he took part in the annual Toulon tournament scoring a hat-trick for the Portugal U20 team in their game with Korea.
