Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold were the perpetrators of the Columbine High School massacre in Littleton, Colorado on April 20, 1999, resulting in the deaths of many of their classmates.

The two killed 12 students and a teacher, before each shooter shot himself in the head after it became apparent that they would not be able to make it out of the building scot-free.

The two teenagers planned to upwards of five hundred stundents in their school using homemade bombs and guns. They were then to run into the neighborhood and massacre neighbors there. Finally, they would hijack an airplane and crash it someplace in New York City.
