Re your messages: There seems to be some discrepancies over his middle name. While the birth certificate does show Marcus, various other online sources has his middle name as Mayer. Since there is this discrepancy, I am a bit leery about moving the article to one name or the other. I recommend that you ask the advice of other editors to see if this discrepancy can be resolved. You might want to ask at Misplaced Pages:WikiProject Jewish history or Misplaced Pages:WikiProject Judaism for assistance. I am sure that if you ask there, somebody will be willing to help.
