Mario Kart Arcade GP 2 is the second game in the Mario Kart Arcade GP arcade game series. The game features the "Nam Cam" camera features of its predecessor, and 50cc, 100cc, and 150cc difficulty modes, as well as new items. The Japanese version of the game features color commentary by the prominent Japanese voice actor and on-screen personality, Kōichi Yamadera.
Characters
Mario Kart Arcade GP 2 includes thirteen playable characters, including two new ones: Waluigi and Bandai's Mametchi.
Other characters are not playable but they do make small cameos.
Carts
The game uses the same carts as the first. They allow unlockable content to be accessed in the game to give the player an advantage in items or cars or characters. The carts are also used outside of Japan and aren't disabled in UK machines.
Reception
Play magazine gave a 7.5 out of 10, praising for the courses backgrounds, multiplayer, and graphics.
