background: It took me a while to find out how to unblock so here goes.
I have also been told that it is hopeless to get unblocked. The culture of[REDACTED] is that it is rarely done, particularly for the cases that become a little complicated. In those cases, I am told to expect the request to be denied and to receive quite a bit of rudeness and abuse in the process.
I am told that administrator Jersyko has resigned rather than fix the problem.
It seems that Jersyko created a scheme to manipulate Misplaced Pages, the hell with harming innocent people in the process. In doing so, the process led to my wife being wrongly banned, among many others. Someone even commented that she was a good editor.
Having an administrator resign because of his diabolical scheme is not enough. The damage he did should be undone. I think the reason that there are so many accused socks is that Jersyko's plot hurt a few people, some of whom probably created sockmen. The cure for the sockman problem is simple, just have them confess who are sockmen and unban some of them. Or hold a hearing. Ignoring this will just make the problem worse. Think about it administrator, if you were banned would you be happy (and forget for a moment that you are unlike others because you have a clan to unban you)
We already have a breakthrough. The administrator who tangled with Dereks1x has resigned in shame and even destroyed his own user talk page. This should be a signal that it is not Dereks1x (the bad guy) versus the good guys at Misplaced Pages. It is more like a bad administrator (Jersyko) who had a plot to manipulate Misplaced Pages and didn't care who he got banned, innocent people, bad people, good contributors, etc.
My wife also tells me that writing to the Arbitration Office does no good, that they will ignore you. Therefore, I ask to unban me so that I can publically enter dispute resolution and present evidence and ask others to present evidence. Some of the people that were banned as socks had a few thousand posts, good article posts, not just talk posts. I've been told that this request will only be answered with ridicule and rudeness so prove me wrong with professionalism.
This user is asking that their block be reviewed:
Nancyshusband (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
I wish to enter dispute resolution and emailing arbcom is just an excuse that doesn't work. Evidence that I have some profound to say: The administrator who started this banning affair has resigned in response to my wife's request for him fix it. Rather than fix it, he resigned. He emailed my wife telling her that her request has prompted his resignation. This is like when a disgraced official commits suicide. So there is a reason to open up this inquiry. Thank you. If the administrator were right, he would not have resigned. Just because I make this request of you, you don't resign -- see my point.Notes:
- In some cases, you may not in fact be blocked, or your block has already expired. Please check the list of active blocks. If no block is listed, then you have been autoblocked by the automated anti-vandalism systems. Please remove this request and follow these instructions instead for quick attention by an administrator.
- Please read our guide to appealing blocks to make sure that your unblock request will help your case. You may change your request at any time.
If you ask the blocking administrator to comment on this request, replace this template with the following, replacing "blocking administrator" with the name of the blocking admin:
{{Unblock on hold |1=blocking administrator |2=I wish to enter dispute resolution and emailing arbcom is just an excuse that doesn't work. Evidence that I have some profound to say: The administrator who started this banning affair has resigned in response to my wife's request for him fix it. Rather than fix it, he resigned. If the administrator were right, he would not have resigned. Just because I make this request of you, you don't resign -- see my point. |3 = ~~~~}}
If you decline the unblock request, replace this template with the following code, substituting {{subst:Decline reason here}}
with a specific rationale. Leaving the decline reason unchanged will result in display of a default reason, explaining why the request was declined.
{{unblock reviewed |1=I wish to enter dispute resolution and emailing arbcom is just an excuse that doesn't work. If the administrator were right, he would not have resigned. Just because I make this request of you, you don't resign -- see my point. |decline = {{subst:Decline reason here}} ~~~~}}
If you accept the unblock request, replace this template with the following, substituting Accept reason here
with your rationale:

This seems like a no-brainer but I doubt you will help Misplaced Pages and take the unblock offer. There are two possibilities:
1. Everyone is really one person, Derek. If so, Jersyko would not have resigned. He would have just ignored my wife. Ok, assume everyone is one person. Letting that person air their grievance, probably have a conclusion of "yes, you're partially right, partially wrong..." would happen. Problem solved. The Derek guy is happy that he is partly vindicated, partly not. Sweeping it under the rug won't make it go away.
2. My wife is an innocent bystander banned wrongly. You listen and, if you finally decide she's right, then you fix the problem. Problem solved, you did a good deed.
See, win-win if you listen. Lose-lose if you ignore this and write a rude reply and ban.
