A Single-Speed 'MultiPro' Dremel

Dremel is the name given to rotary tools made by the Robert Bosch Tool Corporation. Similar tools (for example, those manufactured by Craftsman) are also sometimes refered to as Dremels. They are extremely versatile tools and are used extensively by model makers and hobbyists.

Cordless (battery-powered) and corded models are available with a range of rotation speeds typically from 5000 - 35000 RPM.

They may be likened to the pneumatic die grinders used in the metalworking industry by tool or moldmakers.
