What I would suggest is if you want to seek another opinion on whether those sites are reliable, try posting to the reliable sources noticeboard at WP:RS/N. I still don't think they would qualify. If the person is mentioned in Forbes, Fortune, BusinessWeek, etc., those would be considered reliable sources.

Even if they are determined "not reliable", you can still improve the articles in other ways. Copy editing, finding other more reliable sources, etc.

In the proper context "xenocidic" should be taken to mean earth's defender (one who protects from an invading extra-terrestrial species by destroying them).

Anyhow, feel free to try posting to that noticeboard I linked above and get more opinions on those sites you want to reference. I'm leaving a welcome template for you below, I'm sure you will find it helpful.
