Brother Louie is the first single of the third album of the German band Modern Talking, Ready for Romance. It is the fourth consecutive to top the German Chart, after You're My Heart, You're My Soul, You Can Win If You Want and Cheri Cheri Lady.

The song is the only single from the album that was a hit in the UK Singles Charts, reaching no. 4. The song is dedicated to Luis Rodriguez, co-producer of Modern Talking's albums.
The song was a gold disc in South Africa, platinum disc in UK and silver disc in France (for sales of 347.000 copies).
The music video features clips from a movie "Once Upon A Time In America".
