Channel 4 Logo

The logo you added is an older version of the current logo, and you have replaced the current version of the logo - which was already an SVG - with an old one. Did you mean to replace another image in the article? User:Bilky_asko ☎☞ Talk to me, I'm bored! (£1.50 a second) 16:55, 7 December 2008 (UTC)

Quick question

Who made the program you helped me to use?--Accdude92 (talk) 17:55, 3 December 2008 (UTC)

all music and all music guide

I reverted the edit you recent made to Michael Erlewine. When it was founded, it was called All Music Guide.--Rockfang (talk) 19:37, 3 December 2008 (UTC)

My thinking is that the line refers to what he founded. At the time of founding, it was called All Music Guide. And the "(now known as allmusic)" part implies the name change happened.--Rockfang (talk) 19:53, 3 December 2008 (UTC)

I understand. You will do what you will do, right or wrong. Have you ever heard of free speech? Mervyn Emrys (talk) 01:23, 4 December 2008 (UTC)

Welcome to the 21st Century! Fortunately, I think WP has heard of that one, unless you think you are authorized to censor civil comments and prevent participation, both of which I believe are contrary to established WP norms. Mervyn Emrys (talk) 01:27, 4 December 2008 (UTC)
Hi Neuro, we were talking about this at WT:ACE2008#Eligibility. I think the best compromise here, since it's such a borderline situation, is to allow Mervyn to vote, and then even if his comments are indented so they don't count numerically, he can at least get his comments out there. It sounds like he's done a fair bit of research on the candidates, and I for one am interested in his thoughts. Does this sound like a reasonable compromise? --Elonka 01:34, 4 December 2008 (UTC)
I also think this is a fair compromise. That way the vote can be considered as an additional opinion by whoever considers these things with a clear disclosure re the eligibility criteria. Orderinchaos 08:06, 4 December 2008 (UTC)

Whoa...

User:Roux, User talk:Roux, also see history. —Ceranthor 02:40, 6 December 2008 (UTC)

I knew you guys were buddies. That's a little unnecessary, what happened that has caused this? —Ceranthor 02:47, 6 December 2008 (UTC)

regrexes

Thanks for providing those broken regrexes. They are fixed now. There was nothing especially wrong with the software, just some bad luck getting 3 unrelated errors in one night. The "included" case an especially freaky case - full explanation on talk page. :) --ThaddeusB (talk) 04:17, 6 December 2008 (UTC)

Eligibility

why not eligible? Capasitor (talk) 16:52, 6 December 2008 (UTC)

Thanks

Thanks for your careful consideration at my successful RfA. "Candidate has clue, has need for the tools, and knows policy" was generous and appreciated. Please let me know on my talk page if you have any suggestions for me. - Dan Dank55 (send/receive) 17:16, 6 December 2008 (UTC)

Happy Birthday!

My belated birthday wishes to you! It's not my fault that I noticed your signature 6 days late, is it? Have some cake:

Chamal has given you a WikiCake! WikiCakes promote WikiLove and hopefully this one has made your day a little better. Spread the WikiLove by giving someone else a cake, whether it be someone you have had disagreements with in the past or a good friend. Bon appetit!

Spread the tastiness of cakes by adding {{subst:GiveCake}} to their talk page with a friendly message.

True, but I feel this username is blatantly confusing, and although WP:IU no longer lists "confusing usernames", I feel an exception could be made. More importantly, the account was being used only for vandalism. –Juliancolton 16:58, 8 December 2008 (UTC)

Re: Misplaced Pages Police

Hey man, that's all water under the bridge as far as I'm concerned. My major gripe was that he reported me for vandalism because I reverted his edits, even though my edits were clearly not even remotely in the realm of vandalism. He wasn't even undoing vandal work, since I'm a member of the WikiProject Film and the Film Awards Task Force. I was just doing what I do, which is not vandalism. I was actually correcting incorrect information, if you must know, and he reverted it back to the incorrect information without doing any research. But I apologised for my remarks, acknowledged that I was out of line, and it's all over now, so stay out of it please. This isn't your fight.TheLastAmigo (talk) 20:54, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
