Pogradec (Albanian: Pogradec or Pogradeci) is one of the southeastern cities of Albania. It is the capital of the District of Pogradec, in the Prefecture of Korçë, located at 40.87°N 20.70°E with a population of around 24,000 (2004 est). It is by the famous Lake Ohrid. This city is surrounded my hills on the southern and western side. The lake is in eastern and northern side.
