Season 8: 2009–2010
Template:Future television The eighth and final season of Monk is set to premiere on August 7, 2009 at 9/8c. It will contain the standard 16 episodes. It has been confirmed that Bitty Schram, who portrayed Sharona Fleming in seasons 1-3, will return for a guest appearance at some point in the final season. Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje will also make a guest appearance on an episode. Official episode order and descriptions have yet to be disclosed.
