GA Sweeps July update
Thanks to everyone's dedicated efforts to the GA Sweeps process, a total of 290 articles were swept in June! Last month was our second most successful month in reviewing articles (after May). We are currently over 70% done with Sweeps, with just under 800 articles left to review. With nearly 50 members, that averages out to about 15 articles per person. If each member reviews an article every other day this month (or several!), we'll be completely finished. This may sound difficult, but if everyone completes their reviews, Sweeps would be completed in less than two years when we first started (with only four members!). With the conclusion of Sweeps, each editor could spend more time writing GAs, reviewing at the backlogged GAN, or focusing on other GARs. Again, I want to thank you for using your time to ensure the quality of the older GAs. Feel free to recruit other editors who have reviewed GANs in the past and might be interested in the process. The more editors, the less the workload, and hopefully the faster this will be completed. If you have any questions about reviews or the process let me know and I'll be happy to get back to you. Again, thank you for taking the time to help with the process, I appreciate your efforts! --Happy editing! Nehrams2020 (talk • contrib) 17:44, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
United States Senate election in California, 1950
Hi, you may remember you opposed this article's FAC on comprehensiveness grounds because I didn't have percentage stats on the primaries. It's back at FAC and I do now have such statistics. Hope you'll check out the FAC and the article, which I think is in really good shape!--Wehwalt (talk) 04:55, 29 July 2009 (UTC)
- Ok yeah I remember. I'll get around to it sometime this weekend, I swear. --ErgoSum•talk•trib 19:07, 30 July 2009 (UTC)

GA Sweeps August update
Thanks to everyone's dedicated efforts to the GA Sweeps process, a total of 215 articles were swept in July! We are currently nearly 80% done with Sweeps, with under 600 articles left to review. With 50 members, that averages out to about 12 articles per person. Once the remaining articles drop to 100, I'll help in reviewing the last articles (I'm currently taking a break). If each member reviews an article every other day this month (or several!), we'll be completely finished. McDonald's Cycle Center FYI
As the GAC reviewer, I am letting you know that McDonald's Cycle Center is now at WP:FAC, FYI. You may not recognize it, since it underwent extensive editorial reconstruction at PR.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTM) 02:28, 5 August 2009 (UTC)
- Ok, thanks. I'll contribute some comments when I have time. --ErgoSum•talk•trib 21:07, 6 August 2009 (UTC)
Brooks-Baxter War
Hi, I'm trying to get this article about Arkansas history reviewed for Good Article status and was wondering if you wouldn't mind taking a look at it. Thanks, --The_stuart (talk) 02:36, 5 August 2009 (UTC)
- Ok, it looks good, very few refs but I suppose that is to be expected. I'll look at it. --ErgoSum•talk•trib 21:07, 6 August 2009 (UTC)
- Right off the bat I'd say work on the introduction, its a little short for an article of this length (WP:LEAD#Length). Try to include info from as many or all of the section headings as you can, and splitting the introduction into three paragraphs.
- The lead image claims to be published in a 1936 article, but also claims the original was published before 1923 and assumes the image is in the public domain. What is the source of this photo and how do we know it is free?
These are just a few issues, I haven't actually read the entire article yet. --ErgoSum•talk•trib 16:49, 8 August 2009 (UTC)
Spider photo
If it is all the same to you, do not delete the photo. None of the four photos on the article show the longer front legs ... yours does, and so adds something to our knowledge. Better to add it into the gallery on the article, IMO. --Tagishsimon (talk)
- I agree. It is a very good photograph. Bus stop (talk) 22:53, 31 August 2009 (UTC)
- Ok no problem. If you say it is of value, then I will leave it uploaded. Thanks for the reply. --ErgoSum•talk•trib 00:16, 1 September 2009 (UTC)
Tool you might be interested in
http://excel2wiki.net/ Weren't you looking for something like this a while ago? Dave (talk) 15:22, 4 September 2009 (UTC)
- Hmm, not exactly, but it might help. I've also been using Firefox with wikEd, which has a lot of useful tools. I haven't been editing much lately, I quit driving over the road, got a local driving job (delivering alcohol to bars and liquor stores), I moved into a duplex, and to top it all off... I contracted the swine flu! I have been lying in bed for the last two days, but today I am feeling better and I think the worst of it has passed. Most people seem to think the swine flu is a vicious killer, but they don't realize the average healthy person has nothing to worry about. Although I can't say I wasn't slightly concerned. --ErgoSum•talk•trib 14:57, 7 September 2009 (UTC)
- Hope you feel better. Wow, when you decide to change your life, you don't mess around =-) Dave (talk) 08:01, 9 September 2009 (UTC)
Hawaii hotspot
I plan to GA Kohala (mountain) and move onto Hawaii hotspot (again). Don't worry, this time around I've finally come up with a good way to attract people, and it (seems) to be working! That is to review other people's work and then ask them to review ours as a favor.
Don't worry, I don't plan to get to it for a month or two. Cheers, ResMar 23:34, 18 September 2009 (UTC)
- Sweet. Let me know when Hawaii hotspot comes up for FA again. --ErgoSum•talk•trib 20:49, 24 September 2009 (UTC)
International Space Station
Hello there! As an editor who has posted a comment in one of the recent Peer Reviews, GANs or FACs of International Space Station, I was wondering if you wouldn't mind commenting in the current Peer Review as to whether you feel your original comments have been dealt with, if you see any new issues with the article, and whether or not you believe the article will meet the criteria for Featured Article status. Any new comments you have would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks, Colds7ream (talk) 16:59, 24 September 2009 (UTC)

Signature
Hi there, I was just wondering how you made your signature with the box and links to your talk and contributions, and in a different font. How do you type in the format for the signature, and are you supposed to check the box in your preferences? Thanks, Kevinmon (talk) 13:40, 14 October 2009 (UTC)
- Look at the source code (edit this page) for my signature, then go to Special:Preferences, paste the markup into your Signature box and change it to suit your needs. The codes are HTML, including the colors. --ErgoSum•talk•trib 01:23, 17 October 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks, now I understand how to change it! Check out my new one: Kevinmon•talk•trib 06:44, 17 October 2009 (UTC)
