Jeremy Stephen Cox (born January 2, 1979) is an American programmer and all-around science fiction aficionado.
He was raised in Salt Lake City, Utah which he still calls his part-time home. He's been at Misplaced Pages for quite a while and considers the most important and most violated policy of this service to be assume good faith
He plans to make mainly formatting fixes to existing Misplaced Pages articles, instead of actual changes to the information within articles (most articles now have editors who own them (in spite of rules against this) and even the most helpful edits will usually result in someone calling you a vandal). He welcomes different views and opinions but will politely not respond to baiting (ie arguments that involve the terms sock or bias, which have just become slang for 'I don't like your facts because they dont fit my view point') He will also completely ignore editors with a history of stalking, because unfortunately its become necessary to assume bad faith when it comes to dealing with those type of people.
Plus he is really pretty busy and doesn't have time for that sort of thing.
