Hiya,
just wondering whats wrong with the link www.birthofthefederation.net?
it's a repository of downloads and loads of other stuff for the game.. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.179.47.33 (talk) 21:35, 7 May 2010 (UTC)
Someone keeps adding a link for another site aswell "Armada Fleet Command".
--Vote4green (talk) 16:22, 9 May 2010 (UTC)
- Sorry for taking so long to get back to you. Misplaced Pages isn't really a place to host links to other sites. All of the material should be encyclopedic and supported by reliable sources. Please check out our external links guide and if you have any questions, please let me know. TNXMan 14:40, 10 May 2010 (UTC)
Hey didnt know if i needed to reply again?
Ok thank you for a quick response, I edited the content to only include factual info, i hope this is good enough to keep it up, if not, than i give up, its just too much for me to add a simple page for a author that i like. thanks again Signing to enable archiving. TNXMan 17:35, 10 May 2010 (UTC)

Regarding User talk:Destatiforze
I know its spread out, but you may want to check out the discussion happening at Hersfold's, mine, and jpgordon's user talk pages. There seems to have been an error in interpreting the CU (even CUs aren't perfect); something about this guy doesn't fit the standard Jessica Liao model, behaviorally speaking. jpgordon is himself a checkuser, and seems to think that Hersfold may have been mistaken (though understandably). This may at the surface end up looking different than if we dig a bit deeper. --Jayron32 05:12, 1 May 2010 (UTC)
- Thank you for the heads up. I'll follow the conversation(s) and please let me know if I can help. TNXMan 13:35, 1 May 2010 (UTC)

Hi. I thought you had blocked this editor, who is posting on his or her talk page. Beyond My Ken (talk) 05:22, 1 May 2010 (UTC)
- They are indeed blocked, but I did not disable their talk page, which they are still free to use to request unblocking or make other comments. A blocked user's talk page is disabled iff they are using to post abusive material or are abusing the unblock template. I'll stop by their page and explain how they can use an unblock template. - Got it - thanks. Beyond My Ken (talk) 18:03, 1 May 2010 (UTC)
Hunting the Snark Pt.2
Hi again Tnxman307. Can I bug you for some pointers to insert: File:Hunting the Snark book cover.JPG to wiki's article: Hunting the Snark. You were right about the puzzlement of inserting images into articles. I got nowhere. Forgive me for inserting the image here & it's so large Pjt48 (talk) 17:58, 1 May 2010 (UTC)
- I resized the image and forced floating right. Please feel free to revert or adjust. - 2/0 (cont.) 20:09, 1 May 2010 (UTC)
- Check out Hunting the Snark. I've put the image in and added the caption. Let me ask you though, do you know that the image's copyright has been released? If so, that's great, but if not, we need to tweak the tag on the image a little bit. Cheers. TNXMan 01:03, 2 May 2010 (UTC)
Geez! The image looks great. I wish I didn't have to be dependent on the kindness of strangers but after saying that I thank you more than you can imagine. I'm the author's literary executor and I believe earnestly that the image is free domain and I will take all responsibility otherwise. Pjt48 (talk) 08:48, 2 May 2010 (UTC)
- It's no problem. Book covers are a great addition to the related articles. If you have any other questions as you go, please drop me a line. TNXMan 13:57, 2 May 2010 (UTC)

TASDELEN (talk) 17:46, 2 May 2010 (UTC)Are Kepler's laws rigth?
TASDELEN (talk) 19:59, 30 April 2010 (UTC)Hi, I have the folowing comments about Kepler's laws: In 1609 Kepler claimed the orbits of the planets to be elliptical. In 1618 he gave the law of periods to be (P1/P2)^2=(r1/r2)^3. 50 years later Newton confirmed Kepler's period law,IF and IF the orbits are circular.Did Kepler meant, that the elliptic orbits tend to be circular with time, that the orbits are not solid elliptical? I think, yes. Then what is the shape of the real orbits? How does a solid elliptical shape may be transformed to a circle? Probably the orbits were not elliptical. They just looked to be elliptical while in reality they were spiraled orbits. In fact spiraled orbit gives the same eccentricity as the eccentricity of an ellipse. In this concern: Newton’s F*dt=m*dv should be considered. The equation of the motion is derived there from. Newton's F*dt=m*dV means F*r*dt=m*r*dVr (energy conservation) and we write 1/2*m*Vr^2+m*gr*r+1/2*I*w^2=m*r*dVr (total energy) That is: Vr^2+2*gr*r+I*w^2/m=2*r*dVr a differential equation dr^2+K*dt^2=2*r*d(dr) with solution r=-a*t*(t-tmax)+K where K=2*gr*r+I*w^2/m=-a^2*tmax^2/(1+4*a) When we draw a polar graph of r=-a*t*(t-tmax) we see billions of spirals, expanding and then compressing. Any where, any sign of ellipse. These spirals are on a paraboloid surface along the orbit of the Sun in its galaxy. And spirals are around the Sun,at the center. No ellipse,no focus,no aphelion,no perihelion nor equality of swept areas in equal interval of time. These spiraled orbits explain also why the celestial bodies have to turn one around the other. This is simply Newton's attraction force=centrifugal force.Centrifugal force needs a tangential velocity, which explain also the spiraled orbits, while the attraction is radial. <blanked> Are Kepler's laws rigth? Redvers goodmorning.I'm writing here not to evade my block but i couldn't do something different. So,I asked in the greek[REDACTED] to be renamed and they renamed me and for the reason that i had a unified log in accounts were made (automaticly?) in the wikis i had the unified log in including the en.wiki.So if you want you can redirect my user page with the user name iordanis_777 to my user page with the user name customizer_2010 and block that page as well. But i don't want my old page because it has my name.you can block the new one and have the templates with the blockage and the denied appeals copy pasted to the new one if there is a problem.Thank you.Customizer 2010 (talk) 10:30, 3 May 2010 (UTC)

User:Msemeb
Giving you a heads up that you might want to take another look at this user. You blocked them for sockpuppetry, but according to the user it's a case of meatpuppetry and not being aware of Misplaced Pages polices regarding such. Also, the user claims they were asleep during the sock investigation and were therefore unable to explain their actions. It looks from their recent userpage comments that they do indeed want to constructively contribute to the enclycopedia. I don't know if an early unblock is in order but you might want to take a look. Thanks. --N419BH (talk) 01:18, 6 May 2010 (UTC)
- Well, according to the investigation this definitely looks like a case of sockpuppetry. However, if you feel the user would like to contribute constructively, I would suggest helping them write an unblock request. I have no objection if another admin would like to reduce/lift their block. TNXMan 13:44, 6 May 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah, I looked through that investigation after I messaged you and it looks like maybe they aren't telling the whole truth on their talk page. I'll let them figure it out. --N419BH (talk) 15:07, 6 May 2010 (UTC)
Thanks
Thanks for fixing my error on the Misplaced Pages:Sockpuppet investigations page. Don't know how I managed to mess up like that (although I suspect it's something to do with getting 4 hours sleep last night (AKA this morning)) Regards, Spitfire 18:49, 10 May 2010 (UTC)
- Hey, no sweat. I'm surprised you're still functioning, let alone clerking. I would suggest you take one of these and one of these and call it a day. TNXMan 19:00, 10 May 2010 (UTC)
