EggBlog is a free package allowing users to download and install a fully featured PHP/MySQL blogging website. Single or mulitple users can have access to post articles while visitors can register to submit comments to each blog or post messages in teh forum.
Features include:
- unlimited blogging
- submission of comments for each blog (for registered users)
- automatic archiving of each blog by month and year
- search engine for blog articles
- create photo albums and upload photos with comments for each
- forum with topics and posts (for registered users
- search engine for the forum topic and posts
- blogroll allowing links to other blogs or websites
- XML RSS feeds for blog articles, topic forums and topic posts
- side bar showing recent blog articles, forum topics (and posts), photos and blogroll
- themes alowing users to easily change the appearance and layout through a single css file
- fully secure administration area to easily add/edit/delete blog articles, blog comments, forum topics, forum posts, photo albums and individual photos
The software has been tested against both apache web server and windows IIS server under PHP4 and MySQL4.
