Scott Mayer (born August 31, 1964 in Franklin, Wisconsin) has been a race car driver since 1996.

He has competed in two Rolex 24 at Daytona races, once in 2011 for Starworks Motorsport and once in 2008 for Cheever Racing. His teams finished 44th in 2011 and last in 2008, due to engine failure in the Daytona prototype. He also tested the Daytona prototype in 2009 for Meehan Motorsports at Putnam Park in Indiana and at the Spirit of Daytona at F1 track at Indy.

In the past, Scott has driven for Doran Racing, A.J. Foyt Enterprises, Sam Schmidt Motorsports, TRG Motorsports and PDM Racing. His most successful finish was 7th place at Phoenix International Raceway in 2005. That same year, Scott passed the speed phase of rookie orientation for the Indy 500 but did not qualify for the race. He won three races in a row in the Barber Dodge Pro Series in the 1997 season.

Scott also owns three Milwaukee area companies; he is President of QPS Employment Group, Chairman of the Board of SPiN Milwaukee and is President of TM Properties.

QPS is based in Brookfield, Wisconsin and places candidates in industrial, skilled trades, office/clerical and professional settings. Scott started the company in his parents’ basement in 1985, and it has grown to a company with over 175 employees, 20 office locations, and over 4,000 employees on a weekly basis. He is currently the Co-Chair for the American Staffing Association’s subcommittee on Immigration Reform and Industrial Sector.

SPiN Milwaukee is a ping pong nightclub, located in Milwaukee’s Third Ward. It is a franchise of SPiN New York, which actress Susan Sarandon is an investor of. SPiN Milwaukee opened in September of 2010.

TM Properties is a real estate company that owns residential properties and rents to families in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area.

Scott is married to Susanne Mayer and has two children, Sam and Sarah. He is active in his church- Grace Evangelical Lutheran in Milwaukee and sits on the Board of Regents for Wisconsin Lutheran College’s Student Affairs Committee.
