eddie would tow

I added the section for "eddie would tow." It's a common sight on the islands. I'm kind of surprised I didn't add it sooner. Cheers. ... aa:talk 14:46, 8 April 2006 (UTC)

I've never seen that on a bumper sticker or a shirt, and I'm not sure it's encyclopedic. It strikes me as similar to the bumper stickers they used to sell saying "Mom Would Go" - revealing of ignorance of the topic, and rather disrespectful. 128.12.186.192 05:03, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
I've removed that section pending citation and evidence that it merits inclusion.128.12.186.192 05:04, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
I've added a fact request. —Viriditas | Talk 01:32, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

Time-sensitive language

It's best to avoid prose like "the most recent tournament was in December 2009." First off, this is a biography about Aikau, so the tournament held in his name is secondary, and details like this belong in the daughter article. Second, this kind of language will make the article date quickly, and we need to foc us on writing for the long-term. Viriditas (talk) 23:01, 8 December 2009 (UTC)
