Akhilleus is the hero of the Iliad. I'm just some guy, though. I like contributing to pages related to classical antiquity.

I am an administrator on the English Misplaced Pages. I used to be in the category of admins open to recall, but the concept of administrator recall doesn't seem to be serving its intended purpose. I barely use my admin buttons anyway, but if there should ever develop a community consensus that I have misused my admin tools, I'll resign them. (A good way of establishing such a consensus, should the need arise, is through an admin conduct RfC.

The Epic Barnstar
For your tireless efforts in the field of Classical Greece and Rome, for your upstanding patience and care when working with your articles, and specifically for your defense of academic consensus on the pages The Odyssey, Alexander the Great and Homosexuality in ancient Greece, I award you, Akhilleus, with this Epic Barnstar, which ironically refers both to the topic which you clearly adore and to your resiliency in the face of the 'many twists and turns' these challenges have given you.
