Solas nua ('new light' in Irish) is a Washington DC based Irish contemporary arts organization, founded in 2005. They are based at the Flashpoint gallery in Washington. It is possibly the only theater group in the United States that solely produces contemporary Irish drama. Many of the performances attempt to combat commonly held stereotypes about Ireland.
It was founded by Linda Murray, a former curator at the Library of Congress.
