- This audio drama marks the departure of companion C'rizz.
- Both Robert Glenister and Christopher Villiers made guest appearances in Fifth Doctor serials. The former played Salateen in The Caves of Androzani (1984), Peter Davison's final serial as the Doctor, while the latter played Hugh Fitzwilliam in The King's Demons (1983).
