Tim Riley is no longer active on Misplaced Pages. Warmest thanks and best wishes to the many editors with whom it has been a pleasure and a privilege to collaborate. No thanks, but good wishes all the same, to the minority of editors who carped, sniped, arrogated a monopoly of wisdom, and ultimately killed the joy of contributing to this wonderful project.

It has been a real honour to have the chance to collaborate with you and receive the benefit of your advice, wit and warm humanity. You will be sorely missed by many here, I suspect. Nooooo..... Please no, you're one linchpins in good article promotion around here. As they say "don't let the bastards get you down". Yes, the sniping can get annoying at times but on such occasions its best to take a wiki break. You're letting them get the better of you. I strongly hope you'll take a few weeks off and then remember how much you loved contributing good content and reviewing. It sometimes takes a long break to regain it and refocus on why we are here and to be passionate again about content. I'm afraid you can't completely avoid what you are concerned with but the reason I'm still here is because its my encyclopedia as much as anybody's and content easily makes it worthwhile above the heartache in my opinion. Yes you should be thicker skinned than this but if it is affecting you take a long break, but I do so hope it won't be permanent.♦ Dr. Blofeld 16:17, 10 August 2012 (UTC)
