- I already help with edit requests, and I feel I can help out with this as well. I am experienced in recognising vandalism, and am willing to take on this additional role Mdann52 (talk) 18:30, 15 August 2012 (UTC)
- Hi Mdann52, most of your edits are vandal reverts. I have a couple of questions: have you read and understand the criteria for becoming a reviewer, and do you know that as a rollbacker you can already handle AFT5? Thanks. Acalamari 22:49, 19 August 2012 (UTC)
I am happy with the reviewers role, but wasn't aware I could do it just using rollback. Thanks for telling me, Mdann52 (talk) 04:42, 20 August 2012 (UTC)
- I also wanted this right to help with pending changes as well . Mdann52 (talk) 12:49, 21 August 2012 (UTC)

- Firstly, I am familiar with the stricter definition of blatant vandalism. I am aware of the fact that all disruptive/unhelpful edits are not regarded as vandalism. I am also closely acquainted with WP:NOR, WP:BLP, WP:NPOV, WP:V, WP:NOT etc. These were the reasons why I believe I am eligible for the permission. Although I may not be better than the most, I can certainly promise you this, I will not misuse the right/permission ever.
The reason why I want to be a reviewer is to help the community by weeding out obvious vandalism and by reviewing the pending changes. Mrt3366 13:25, 16 August 2012 (UTC)
- Done for your rationale and content work. Acalamari 14:41, 23 August 2012 (UTC)

- I would like to help with moderation of the AFT tool comments that are left by users. By removing vandal comments or comments that do not appraise purpose of AFT.An example that can be found in the page here ₫ӓ₩₳ Talk to Me. Email Me. 19:29, 19 August 2012 (UTC)
- (Non-administrator comment) You are a rollbacker, so you can already monitor feedback at AFTv5. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 23:16, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
- (Non-administrator comment) Question: Is another reason you want this right is to edit with the return of the pending changes trial?--Anderson (Public) (talk) 22:18, 24 August 2012 (UTC)

- As a rollbacker, I would like to get started reviewing AFT feedback. Thanks in advance! Nathan2055 00:10, 20 August 2012 (UTC)
- Not done as a rollbacker you can already hide feedback, and no privileges are required to review feedback. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 04:28, 20 August 2012 (UTC)
- Comment: As said below, this has been given to rollbackers previously, so why am I not allowed to have this right? Besides, I also plan to do PC stuff, as there is only a few months before that returns. --Nathan2055 02:03, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
- The idea is to have the bits that you need. Rollbackers do not need this for hiding feedback. It makes it just hat collecting. However if you you are going to patrol pending changes that is a different story that could justify having the bit. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 08:58, 21 August 2012 (UTC)

- I am curently active on WP primarily as an anti-vandalism patrol/wikignome. In the past I have worked on articles and reviewed FPCs, but haven't had the interest recently. In preparation for the upcoming re-trial of Pending Changes, I'd like to request permission as a reviewer 1) so that I will be able to help with the approval backlog that some are expecting and 2) so that my gnoming on PC pages won't add to the backlog for others to approve. - Done for pending changes, and because of your content work. Acalamari 14:41, 23 August 2012 (UTC)

- I am a regular editor and contributor to English Misplaced Pages for over a year now. I already had the reviewer right which i had got a few months ago in March as per request on the Help desk (See my user rights log) because this page was inactive at that time. Today i just recently contacted User:Wehwalt about removing my reviewer right so that i can post my request here and let another Administrator grant it to me which would be both fair and legitimate as i believe in doing the right thing. I have hold the reviewer rights for many months and have worked on Misplaced Pages:Pending changes/Testing quite well and i know all the policies and guidelines like Misplaced Pages:Reviewing, Misplaced Pages:Pending changes and Misplaced Pages:Article Feedback Tool and also other related ones. You can see the other user rights, Rollback and File Mover which i hold and have done many good and useful contributions using these tools including Reviewer and i have never abused anything. I am very careful when doing all kinds of work on Misplaced Pages and these tools will help me further in improving Misplaced Pages. Thank you. TheGeneralUser (talk) 12:38, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
- Done As far as I'm aware there wasn't any problem with how you obtained the right before, and based on my observations of you I think you'd be fine with this tool for pending changes. Acalamari 14:41, 23 August 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks a lot for your trust and confidence in me Acalamari! :-). TheGeneralUser (talk) 19:09, 23 August 2012 (UTC)
