Hi Niteshift, I want to start updating some of the bjj fighters information on wiki.what would wiki consider reliable sources? I mean the only reliable source of bjj information seems to be from articles and news web sites spread out through the internet. Here are some examples: , , , those are the major online news for bjj and mma in the world. They publish monthly magazines as wellI mean would you consider those reliable sources? If not we have to shut down every major bjj competitor, because most information come from these sites. Also I've notice some fighters are adding the tournament results and fight records, in which are detailed information about their matches, what do you think about that? --Bjjfan232 (talk) 03:17, 25 February 2010 (UTC)

Hello, I'd like to formally apologize for any hurt feelings I may have caused, on the stormfront (website) page. I think we all have heated opinions about this, but I look forward to working with you to make a better article for everyone. Cheers :) Mr. Kent (talk) 23:47, 8 March 2011 (UTC) has given you a dove! A beer for you!
No worries, Niteshift--I was happy to back you up there (that was easy anyway, since you were right). Man, some people need to get out more, so they don't have so many words left when they get here. Cheers! Drmies (talk) 22:48, 6 December 2011 (UTC) |

Dave Aronberg
He's a Florida politician and his article keeps getting turned into what looks like a press release not a encyclopedia article. If you have time, could you look at it. There's another editor who isn't compromising at all on this. He just keeps reverting....William 00:10, 8 November 2012 (UTC)

- Who doesn't love free beer. :) Niteshift36 (talk) 16:29, 9 November 2012 (UTC)
- Tell you what, I had the opposite happen tonight. Old neighbor comes by, there's a bottle of champagne, she and Mrs. Drmies claim to be tired etc; by the time they're gone and I'm thinking about finishing that bottle, it's empty after all. Plus they were disrespecting the Clint Eastwood movie I was watching, tsk tsk. Also, I made a promise: to not respond at ANI. Hey, we're all buddy-buddy now, with all this stuff going on, but weren't we in a fight a couple of months ago? Where you were wrong, of course. Later! Drmies (talk) 05:34, 10 November 2012 (UTC)

For working with me on Dave Aronberg article. You've supported him, I was dead set against his most recent bid for office, but we worked together to make the article encyclopedic rather than looking like a press release. ...William 17:45, 9 November 2012 (UTC) |
Allen West
There is a concern I have with the article. It reads 'Although the results have been certified by state elections officials' and gives a UPI article for the source. Unless I am very wrong, election results aren't certified yet....William 01:05, 12 November 2012 (UTC)
- i'm not sure of the status at this point. i just know that this single purpose editor is being a pain. you know as well as anyone that even if I voted for someone, they don't get a free pass from me. Niteshift36 (talk) 02:18, 12 November 2012 (UTC)
- Since I wrote you I did a little more research. The article says 'The results were certified by state elections officials' and 'Florida state election officials certified congressman-elect Patrick Murphy (D) as the winner of his race against incumbent West.' At another point in the article it says 'The results are made official on November 20.'
- Now I did a google search using November 20. You can check here. There are oodles of sources that say the results won't be certified till November 20. I strongly believe the article is wrong about the results being certified. Yes, there are two sources in the article for it. But one of them, UPI, sources their story off the other(The Hill). What do you think?
- BTW I never thought you're giving anyone a free pass through your edits. We both want the articles to be right whether we like the politician in question or not....William 16:43, 12 November 2012 (UTC)
- Sorry, I wasn't implying you thought that. I meant that you know that I'm not that way. I'm perfectly ok with the article reflecting that he lost and that it's done. I do, however, think that there is no reason to put "outgoing" in the first sentence. Niteshift36 (talk) 20:19, 12 November 2012 (UTC)

Why did you bring back the old and the outdated version of the article? You brought in many inaccuracies previously fixed by me. For example, M.A. didn't own Maccabi Tel Aviv club. Why was his photo removed? Why did you remove the names of teachers and students? There is a number of Internet sources about M.A. published by his competitors also acting in the sphere of commercial martial arts targeting his reputation.
Why did you remove numerous links to different articles about the subject written by different authors? If you don't change it, I will change it myself. Romayan (talk) 22:39, 13 November 2012 (UTC)
I am in touch with M.A. Give me your e-mail, and I will forward you a relevant e-mail from the Advertising Standards Authority where they say that the whole case is closed.
