Basvaraj Patil Sedam (Kannada:ಬಸವರಾಜ ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಸೇಡಂ) (born 10 February 1944) is a Member of Rajya Sabha from Karnataka. He was the Secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party and president of the Bharatiya Janata Party Karnataka unit. Sedam is also a former Member of Lok Sabha from Gulbarga.

Basavaraj Patil is one of the prominent social and political activist of Karnataka. His core area is to develop Hyderabad Karnataka area as an inclusive and Sustainable. He is the Honorary President of Sri Kottala Basaveshwara Bharateeya Shikshana Samiti, Sedam in Gulbarga district. He was the guiding force along with Sri K N Govindacharya in organising Kalburgi Kampu 2010 a massive program in Gulbarga in 2010.
