Leonetto Amadei was a lawyer and a politician.
While he was President of the Constitutional Court of the Italian Republic, the Court declared the unconstitutionality of the crime of plagio in 1981 ("Plagio" is a term deriving from the Latin "plagium" ). After few years President Amadei participated to the scientific conference "Persuasion socially accepted, plagio and brainwashing", organized by Mario Di Fiorino, in Forte dei Marmi in 1989, for the discuss of the new situation. .
