I just finished my article about OA5 in my sandbox. Should I expand any part of this article? Include more references? Is it easy enough to read? Formatting OK? Which would be the best place to link this article... in The Dilbert Principle? This is my first article, in the first attempt I didn't use the sandbox so it was speedy-removed because its small size. Hopefully know it will provide enough context to the reader. Thanks!
- Hi. I've moved this to the bottom of the page as that is where we look for new threads.OK. First, please sign talk page posts with four ~ things (and make sure you are logged in, too...) as that signs your post and puts the date stamp on. Now, our article. I would advise you to get references to show that it is a term used in other places than the book. The book is notable, but not every bit of it taken by itself is. You need to show that this has been discussed, reviewed or similar in different places. See WP:RS. The book itself can't be used to show that this thing is notable. (Just as my website can't be used to show that I am notable...) If you get stuck, and no-one has come up with anything else, leave a note at my talk page. Peridon (talk) 17:18, 12 October 2013 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of OA5
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, and welcome to Misplaced Pages. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on OA5 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Misplaced Pages:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Mediran (t • c) 11:38, 11 October 2013 (UTC)
