Benjamin Wey is a Chinese-American Wall Street financier, publisher and journalist, philanthropist, and CEO of New York Global Group, a company that for almost 20 years, has had the ability and flexibility to successfully advise Fortune Global 500 companies, several governments and many businesses on complex funding, market entry, government relations and critical crisis management issues involving China and elsewhere.
Early life
Benjamin Wey is a resident of New York City. He was born in China and came to the United States in his teens with only $62 in his pocket to attend college on full academic and Valedictorian scholarships. Wey was educated at Columbia Business School of Columbia University in New York City where he received his 2nd master's degree in business administration.
Work
Benjamin Wey is the CEO of New York Global Group, a U.S. and Asia based venture capital and private equity investment firm with access to more than $1 billion in investment capital that "is known for funding and advising emerging growth companies". As an adviser to numerous Fortune Global companies as well as several governments, Wey claims to manage crisis, advise market entry, and provide complex funding for many economic and political forces. Interviewed on Fox Business News, Wall Street Journal, CCTV America and CNBC, Wey claimed that he helps to increase American jobs by introducing foreign capital to invest in American communities which in turn provide job growth and economic expansion in several regions across America.

Wey has been a visiting professor at some universities in the United States and around the world. In addition, he has published articles and comments that give advice, guidance, and perspective on global finance, where he specializes in leadership strategies especially with Chinese companies.| He has been a visiting professor of finance at China University of Petroleum, guest professor at the Zhejiang University School of Management, and a guest lecturer at the University of Maryland. He continues to lecture and speak at other universities.
