Plot summary
Virgil Tibbs accepts a position with a local law firm. Complicating matters is the fact that based on his former experiences as a police officer, Tibbs knows that a client of the law firm is guilty of murder.
Trivia
- This is the final episode of In the Heat of the Night that Howard Rollins starred in. Rollins had been dropped as a regular after continued legal problems, although he had been invited back as a guest star for several 7th season episodes. But another arrest had led to his being banned from the county in which the series was being filmed in.
