I'm interested in developing the articles pertaining to the Rainy River District, I'd certainly need some help as I'm not too familiar with the formatting used.--Picard102 16:58, 26 November 2005 (UTC)
Dead project? --Picard102 17:32, 10 January 2006 (UTC)
- The project isn't dead, just not particularly active. Technically, it hasn't really gotten started yet, though a few users have silently edited WP to add new Ontario-related content (for example, Bearcat). Of course, we welcome any ideas regarding this project or its promotion. Mindmatrix 19:01, 17 April 2006 (UTC)
Demographics?
I'm not currently a participant in this project (is it still alive?) but I have noticed a significant number of Ontario-related articles now include a Demographics section. While I guess this information is relevant to some, I have a few issues with how it's being done:
- Contributions seem to be anonymous and mainly from 24.226.10.98 and 24.42.42.132 with no edit summaries
- Inconsistent formatting & terminology (e.g. "racial" vs "ethnic", "native american" vs "aboriginal", etc.)
- Prominence (does Demographics really deserve to appear before History?)
- Lack of references. In at least one case, Regional Municipality of Niagara, Ontario, someone has added the source as the Canada 2001 Census, however when I do my own calculations using census data the numbers don't always agree.
Thoughts? Ideally I'd love to hear from the two anonymous contributors, as it's obvious they've put a lot of work into tabulating this information. -- Darthsco 20:19, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

Ontario Mental Health Act
I recently created this article, I think it would be great if someone could take a look over and offer suggestions for improvement. I think there's still lots to do here and the redlinks indicate more articles that could be created. Thanks Matt 01:10, 22 February 2006 (UTC)
Misplaced Pages:Version 1.0 Editorial Team cooperation
Hello. I'm a member of the Version 1.0 Editorial Team, which is looking to identify quality articles in Misplaced Pages for future publication on CD or paper. We recently began assessing articles using these criteria, and we are are asking for your help. As you are most aware of the issues surrounding your focus area, we are wondering if you could provide us with a list of the articles that fall within the scope of your WikiProject, and that are either featured, A-class, B-class, or Good articles, with no POV or copyright problems. Do you have any recommendations? If you do, please post your suggestions at the listing of all active Places WikiProjects, and if you have any questions, ask me in the Work Via WikiProjects talk page or directly in my talk page. Thanks a lot! Titoxd 18:29, 23 March 2006 (UTC)
