Edit warHey. I've learnt that you're not supposed to revert edits to a single article more than three times in 24 hours. So my hasty reverting on the Wolf Children page was out of line. Sorry for being tyrannical. Popcornduff (talk) 03:31, 2 November 2014 (UTC)
Corruption on kickboxing, helpHello, PRehse, Mdtemp and Papaursa are again destroying the Misplaced Pages kickboxing (I bet these 3 are also linked). There are no kickboxing records on the internet, all the people are informing from the Misplaced Pages site. Look what are they doing: https://en.wikipedia.org/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Raul_C%C4%83tina%C8%99. The article is well written. Then the people had a discussion regarding this promotion which is currently the second in the world: https://en.wikipedia.org/Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Martial_arts/Kickboxing_task_force#SUPERKOMBAT_Fighting_Championship. These users are simply ignoring the users based on their personal opinion and hate (SuperKombat should be added on the list, and even if a kickboxer is good to be allowed to be on Misplaced Pages if he holds first tiers trophies). Basically, PRehse deleted many SuperKombat fighters, now he asked help from his Mdtemp to do it. Before, it was Papaursa who helped him. They kept deleting kickboxers, unbelievable. Can't we have them on Misplaced Pages if they are notable enough? Remember, these were previously warned to stop deleting K-1 articles, huge events. Dammst (talk) 17:14, 11 November 2014 (UTC)
Your message on my talk pageIt was spam, though-I was rollbacking from his contribs because Dammst C&P'd the same message to 21 different users. I would have left a more detailed message and link to the AN/I, but I was pressed for time. Origamite 23:09, 13 November 2014 (UTC)
Japanese requestHi Nihonjoe, I was wondering if you could help a few of us out at Talk:Satellaview. A new editor, Hadsn, has recently started trying to improve the article and we are running into language barriers. I can translate a bit, but it's a very slow process for me and I don't have much time at present. The topic of discussion is pretty tech-heavy and I'm not sure if the new editor is aware of the proper way to use citations. This new editor hasn't even been welcomed to Misplaced Pages yet and I was wondering if you could kind of act as a liaison here and speak Japanese with him. He seems to be knowledgeable about the subject and I'm worried that without some assistance he'll get irritated by the slow pace and the fact that some of his edits have been reverted. If you are too busy please let me know and I can ask another editor from Misplaced Pages:Translators available#Japanese-to-English. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide. -Thibbs (talk) 04:25, 26 November 2014 (UTC)

For the coordinators, TomStar81 MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:33, 15 December 2014 (UTC) Brandon SandersonTo explain my recent edits on the Brandon Sanderson page: your bibliography of the man is like a love-letter from a fan. I don't see any reason to insert titles of books which are not to be published for ages - The Dark One, The Silence Divine, etc. Those belong on the Coppermind.net wiki, not in a encyclopedia where people can read about them (nothing is known about these stories, so making separate Wiki-pages for them is rather useless). Also, the alfabetical order is horrible, no further reasons are necessary except for the fact that I like the layout more like it is now. I have also good things to say, however. I like your edits about the nominations and awards, and of course the titles you added to the bio (the usefull ones). I edit most of the Sanderson wiki-pages (Way of Kings, Words of Radiance, Stormlight Archive, Steelheart, Rithmatist, Legion...), and started a lot of them, so you understand that I am a little protective about the articles, which doesn't say I don't want people to help me complete it. Understand that I prefer the bio like it is now, and further edits are only to be added when more solid plans for the books are revealed. If I had to add everything Mr. Sanderson has ever written... With kind regards, J.A.R. Huygebaert (talk) 17:53, 22 December 2014 (UTC) |
