Revision as of 07:41, 24 July 2015 by Zurich00swiss (talk | contribs)(diff) ← Previous revision | Latest revision (diff) | Newer revision → (diff) You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for persistent disruptive editing, including, amongst other things, edit-warring, copyright infringement, creating articles containing misinformation, adding fake "references" to at least one article, evidently in the hope that doing so would prevent the removal of unsourced content, vandalising another editor's user page, and editing alternately with and without being logged into this account, apparently to avoid being blocked for edit warring. To avoid any possible misunderstanding, as long as your account is blocked, you do not have permission to edit Misplaced Pages, whether by using this account or otherwise. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice:{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 17:50, 7 March 2015 (UTC)

- I have read the message you posted to my talk page here, using the IP address 151.29.154.74, asking to be given another chance. I was reasonably disposed to be sympathetic, and consider unblocking you. Technically, you were evading your block, but if it was only in order to ask for an unblock of your account, then I was willing to consider overlooking that. However, I then discovered that you have been evading your block using that IP address before (on 12 July 2015), and for all I know you may have done so on other occasions with other IP addresses. The message above is, I think, perfectly clear: "To avoid any possible misunderstanding, as long as your account is blocked, you do not have permission to edit Misplaced Pages, whether by using this account or otherwise." I am therefore unwilling to unblock you now. However, I have restored your access to this talk page, so that you may make a request to be unblocked. If you do that, you will need to persuade whatever administrator reviews your request that you will in future edit in line with Misplaced Pages policies and guidelines. That includes not using sockpuppets, not attacking other editors, not edit-warring, and not vandalising any pages, including user pages. I also note that your messages to me and other editors (including another administrator) asking to be given another chance came only after the IP address you used to evade your block had been blocked: I suggest that any unblock request should deal with that matter too.
- Note to any reviewing administrator if Zurich00swiss does make an unblock request: I have known other editors, particularly young ones, who have come back after a block under circumstances similar to this, and become good and useful editors. Provided that Zurich00swiss does give a plausible undertaking to avoid the unacceptable types of editing which led to the blocks, including sockpuppetry, I would be inclined to look reasonably favourably on any unblock request, on the understanding that the slightest future infraction would be likely to lead to immediate re-imposition of the block. - Note to Zurich00swiss: Unless and until you make an unblock request on this page and it is accepted by an administrator, you may not edit Misplaced Pages at all, except on this page, and here you may not edit except by using the account "Zurich00swiss". If it becomes apparent that you have made any edits at all either using any other account or without logging into an account, the note I posted above will be withdrawn, and I shall no longer consider you welcome to request an unblock. I am willing to give you another chance, on the understanding that you will avoid all the problems that led to your being blocked.
