Claims of retirement/inactivity
Again, please don't use {{retired}} templates or write on your userpage that you are "currently inactive" or on a {{long wikibreak}} when the truth is that you are perfectly active on Misplaced Pages every day. An ongoing {{busy}} template is all that's needed to inform editors who visit your talk page that you might not reply to them quickly, if this is your concern; you should not deter them from contacting you at all by giving the false impression that you may not notice their comment for a "long" time, if ever.
If you're struggling to stick with genuinely-intentioned wikibreaks, you can ask an admin to formally block your account for a time - take a look at WP:BLOCKME for how to go about that. --McGeddon (talk) 10:24, 23 October 2015 (UTC)
- Why you care? Did anyone complain? My very best wishes (talk) 13:49, 23 October 2015 (UTC)
- No, nobody complained, I just noticed you doing it and am concerned that it's misleading to other editors. Why are you doing it? --McGeddon (talk) 14:19, 23 October 2015 (UTC)
