Your recent editing history at Karait shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.-- Toddy1 (talk) 11:00, 10 January 2016 (UTC)
Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Misplaced Pages:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Misplaced Pages's policy on edit warring. Thank you.-- Toddy1 (talk) 13:53, 10 January 2016 (UTC)
- The user who placed these ^ notices supports sockpuppets of User:Ancientsteppe (see User:Toghuchar) while he (even if asked many times to stop such harassment) relentlessly accuses everyone else of being sockpuppets in order to canvass support against them if they touch any Karaite-related pages in any way the user does not like -e.g. clarifying helpful distinctions between Christian and Jewish groups. Since there just are too many examples just browse . All this is his apparent pretext to being elusive when invited to discuss any POV he can not justify with facts (or if his misrepresentations of facts are challenged). Even if you try to be friendly by sending him thanks for his contributions :( Some people seem simply inclined to assume bad faith against wikipedians who challenge their word views, POVs and confirmation biases. Nevertheless my hand of friendship is still open to him should he realize his error. :)
Disambiguation link notification for January 13
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Misplaced Pages appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Prester John, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Toghrul (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
