Please stop edit warring in the Coverage of Google Street View
Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Notice of Edit warring noticeboard discussion
Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Misplaced Pages:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Misplaced Pages's policy on edit warring. The thread is Misplaced Pages:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring#User:Pablothepenguin reported by User:Fortuna Imperatrix Mundi (Result: ). Thank you. Fortuna 11:35, 18 April 2016 (UTC)
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 48 hours for edit warring and violating the three-revert rule. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page:{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
.During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.

Request reason:
I wish to see a resolution to the ongoing edit war dispute over the Google Streetview Coverage article. I need to be able to reply to any questions asked regarding this. therefore I will need my account to be unblocked. Pablothepenguin (talk) 16:11, 18 April 2016 (UTC)
Decline reason:
What counts is what Misplaced Pages needs, not what you need. One of the things Misplaced Pages needs is no edit warring, and you will not be unblocked without addressing that. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 16:34, 18 April 2016 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

User talk:Atlan
Stop restoring your template warnings on my talk page. If you have something to say, then leave me a self written message. It doesn't help that the warnings don't make sense in the first place. I also don't care for people suggesting I should "practice in the sandbox". I've told you this before. You are close to a 3RR violation after just having been blocked for one. Go play somewhere else please.--Atlan (talk) 20:38, 23 April 2016 (UTC)
- I am sorry, I was offended by a dodgy revert you did on The Yogscast article, please don't take this a threat. Pablothepenguin (talk) 20:39, 23 April 2016 (UTC)
- I've already made a different edit on Yogscast and provided an edit summary. I don't understand why you get so worked up about it.--Atlan (talk) 20:44, 23 April 2016 (UTC)
- Unexpected content removal, contradicting my own beliefs. Pablothepenguin (talk) 20:45, 23 April 2016 (UTC)
- Well I should have left an edit summary so that's my bad. And you should think about how template notices come across to editors before you leave them. I have been an editor here for almost 14 years, so I really don't need a notice on my talk page telling me to practice editing in the sandbox.--Atlan (talk) 20:51, 23 April 2016 (UTC)

Warning
Further edit warring under a deliberately misleading summary following your block when there's a clear consensus against your position in the discussions you started at Talk:Coverage of Google Street View#Request For Comment and Misplaced Pages:Village pump (policy)#Scotland is pretty awful conduct. You should expect to be blocked for a lengthy period if this continues. Please move on. Nick-D (talk) 11:56, 28 April 2016 (UTC)

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 72 hours for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. Request reason:
I am very easily annoyed by the amount of people here who don't show any respect to Scotland, they refuse to accept that it is a country and it also has an active independence movement. Please can we reach a compromise where Scotland can appear more at the wiki than before? Unblock would be convenient as well, I guess. Pablothepenguin (talk) 17:19, 28 April 2016 (UTC)
Decline reason:
I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that
- the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Misplaced Pages, or
- the block is no longer necessary because you
- understand what you have been blocked for,
- will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
- will make useful contributions instead.
Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. -- GB fan 17:27, 28 April 2016 (UTC)

Notice that you are now subject to a topic ban
You have been topic banned for six months from all editing on the topic of Scotland in relation to Great Britain/United Kingdom, broadly construed. Please read the policy on topic bans to ensure you understand what this means. This sanction is imposed in my capacity as an uninvolved administrator as authorised by the community's decision here. It has been recorded here in the Editing restrictions log. If you do not comply with this sanction, you may be blocked for an extended period, by way of enforcement of this sanction—and you may also be made subject to further sanctions. You may appeal this sanction at the administrators' noticeboard. You may also appeal directly to me (on my talk page), before or instead of appealing to the noticeboard. Even if you appeal this sanction, you remain bound by it until you are notified by an uninvolved administrator that the appeal has been successful. You are also free to contact me on my talk page if anything of the above is unclear to you. Bishonen | talk 10:16, 2 May 2016 (UTC).
