Please bear these points in mind while editing Misplaced Pages

The Misplaced Pages tutorial is a good place to start learning about Misplaced Pages. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome!Template:Z129

Psyced

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Psyced, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.wikigrain.org/?req=Psyced.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Misplaced Pages:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) Speedy deletion nomination of Psyced

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Psyced, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. — JJMC89(T·E·C) 18:35, 31 May 2015 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of PSYC

The article PSYC has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable chat protocol with no significant sourcing. (Note: This article was deleted in 2009 and restored in the userspace as User:Neustradamus/PSYC.)

While all constructive contributions to Misplaced Pages are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. — JJMC89(T·E·C) 18:41, 31 May 2015 (UTC)

Please stop

I've put the brakes on your attempt to force this content back onto Misplaced Pages. I'm assuming you are a new account for the same person who formerly operated the User:Neustradamus account. Please note the following:

  • Copy-and-past moving is always the wrong way to move a full article from one location to another. See WP:MOVE for the correct procedure, which is quite simple.
  • Moving content back into article space without making one single edit to address the issues that led to it being deleted five years ago is only going to result in it being deleted again, which it has been, all of it, including the old userfied versions.
  • And now I have create protected those titles as well so you will need to either ask me or file a request for unprotection at WP:RFPP if you wish to add improved versions of that content in the future
  • Users who repeatedly add innapropriate pages, including material the community has already decided is not suitable for the encyclopedia, can and will be blocked from editing. It's not something we want to do, but we will if it is necessary to stop disruptive editing.

Hope that helps. Beeblebrox (talk) 19:27, 31 May 2015 (UTC)

I saw now the talk page. I don't know who Nostradamus is. I just restored a page once, thinking it was a useful edit. Isn't this a reaction a little bit too strong for one single edit?
