Orthinodira subclass is a division of the archosauromorpha class. It contains two chief superorders, dinosauromorpha and pterosauromorpha.

The prior, dinosauromorpha, contains legosuchians, and their famous descendants dinosauria. The latter, pterosauromorpha, which are famously the bird-like, or flying, reptiles - these evolved to become our presentday birds.
