AEMisplaced Pages:Arbitration/Requests/Enforcement#.E2.80.8EMarlo Jonesa. - Shrike (talk) 14:40, 2 January 2017 (UTC) replying at AEHello Marlo, I'm leaving this note under WP:AGF and WP:DONTBITE. The reasons I am writing is because I see you're replyhing to people at AE in their own section. I might be wrong about this, but I think at AE they like us to keep all of our remarks, including replies, under our own section. There are various ways to do that but I usually type like this * In reply to So-and-So, in ], blah blah blah. * In reply to So-and-So, in ], blah blah blah. * In reply to So-and-So, in ], blah blah blah. which produces text like this
If that approach looks reasonable to you, you'd have to supply the correct text for the DIFFs you want to highlight. Also, if you mention a user's name you may wish to include Template:Ping by typing {{Ping|Marlo Jonesa}} which renders as @Marlo Jonesa:. New editors who demonstrate willingness to learn from feedback do reasonably well here, provided they admit mistakes, and keep calm and patient. All or some of your addition(s) to Palestinians have been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. While we appreciate your contributing to Misplaced Pages, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from your sources to avoid copyright or plagiarism issues here.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 20:38, 3 January 2017 (UTC) Arbitration Enforcement outcomeHi Marlo Jonesa, Just letting you know I've closed the Arbitration Enforcement thread here. There was consensus that your 500 sandbox edits are not in the spirit of the extended confirmed userright, so I've removed it for now. You can reapply for it at any time via WP:PERM/EC; as outlined in the closing statement I suggest that would be best done after making a substantial body of edits elsewhere in Misplaced Pages, so as to fall within the spirit of the 500/30 rule. Happy to discuss if required., and all the best with your future editing. -- Euryalus (talk) 02:50, 5 January 2017 (UTC) Empty archives 2013-2015
Non-free image useThank you for contributing to Misplaced Pages. We always appreciate when users upload new images. However, it appears that one or more of the images you have recently uploaded or added to a page, specifically Palestinian art, may fail our non-free image policy. Most often, this involves editors uploading or using a copyrighted image of a living person. For other possible reasons, please read up on our Non-free image criteria. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 20:17, 5 January 2017 (UTC)

Wayback MachineHi, Marlo! I'd like to explain this edit (I was using a computer in which I was not comfortable signing onto my account with) The Wayback Machine is a tool which archives websites. That particular page 404'ed (was removed) but the Wayback Machine had a copy. I was simply replacing a dead link with a live one. WhisperToMe (talk) 14:33, 9 January 2017 (UTC)
