Fair use rationale for Image:Tcff-logo.JPG

Thanks for uploading Image:Tcff-logo.JPG. The image description page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Misplaced Pages articles constitutes fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Misplaced Pages page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Favorite Songs

My survey has changed. I am now continuing my mission for the best songs, but now I am accepting all genres. I'm giving you a chance to revote for your top ten favorite songs of any genres (not just classic rock which is still the best). I've made a executive decision to keep the existing survey results and just add on to that with the new entries. My feeling for doing this is because classic rock is the most influential genre in music currently so it should be expressed more in the survey. Thank you for contributing in the past, and hopefully in the future. ROCK ON. RENTASTRAWBERRY röck 03:20, 9 June 2006 (UTC)

Flag of the Olympic Movement.svg removed from your user page

An image or media file, Image:Flag of the Olympic Movement.svg, has been removed from your userpage or user talk page because it was licensed as fair use. Misplaced Pages's fair use policy states that fair use images should only be used in the article namespace. As a result, although users are often given a great amount of latitude in the type of content that is allowed on their user pages, it is requested that you abide by this policy. Feel free, however, to add images and media files licensed under other terms. For more information, see Misplaced Pages's fair use policy and an accompanying essay on the removal of fair use images. Thank you for your cooperation.

Unspecified source for Image:Udi2-rho.jpg

Warning sign This file may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Udi2-rho.jpg. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be an argument why we have the right to use it on Misplaced Pages (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page, but with a government publication or photograph that may have a particular photographer, an attempt should be made to identify the copyright holder.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Note that any unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. TheGrappler 15:28, 5 July 2006 (UTC)

Unspecified source for Image:No-hez-flag.gif

Thanks for uploading Image:No-hez-flag.gif. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be a justification explaining why we have the right to use it on Misplaced Pages (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the file also doesn't have a copyright tag, then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Misplaced Pages:Fair use, use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Misplaced Pages:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Misplaced Pages:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

Anti-North Korea image

Hey -- I removed this from your user page. Images designated as "fair use" are strictly prohibited from being used on non-article pages. The community has been over this several times; I can point you to the discussions if you want me to look for them. Please don't add copyrighted images to your user page. Thanks. Image tagging for Image:Erk.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Erk.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Misplaced Pages's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

TRNC

...because it is unrecognised, and any attempt to present it as recognised by anyone else than Turkey is useless... If u add subnational entities, we can add subnational entities for every country, and then Cyprus will be recognised by maybe 600 and TRNC by a mere 2... As for the differences with the Order of Malta, see the respective article. Hectorian 23:33, 29 September 2006 (UTC)

Haha... what was the last comment for? If u meant anything against the Greeks, then i guess u are not a New Zealender anyway... Hectorian 23:34, 29 September 2006 (UTC)
Maybe that's just your POV... If u are really a New Zealander, then its surprising that a person from one of the most democratic nations of the world support the outcome of an invasion... Hectorian 23:44, 29 September 2006 (UTC)
U certainly know nothing about Greece and the Greeks... hope one day u will learn more. btw, almost always it is pork gyros... Hectorian 23:56, 29 September 2006 (UTC)

Can you help?

Hey Expatkiwi. I came upon the Cypriot refugee article a few days ago, and found it to be very biased towards the Greek POV. I've seen your work on Cyprus-related articles, and was hoping you could help make the article more neutral. What do you say? —Khoikhoi 00:29, 30 September 2006 (UTC)

Well, in this edit for example you were able to make the article NPOV without pushing the Turkish POV at all. You don't have to rewite the article, I was just wondering if you could look at it and make minor corrections (if the Greek POV is there then the Turkish POV can be added alongside it). I will try to fix the article up as well, but I think you'd be able to do a better job. :-) —Khoikhoi 00:41, 30 September 2006 (UTC)
Wow, thanks! You did a great job—just don't forget to cite sources for controversial claims. —Khoikhoi 01:17, 30 September 2006 (UTC)

Racsim

Wow u really dont like cypriots do you. Can i ask you a few questions? Why and how can you being a kiwi? lso could you refrain from spreding anti cyprus ideas on your user page? also How is cyprs anti peace? --Slogankid 14:42, 30 September 2006 (UTC)

Well you should be sorry for ur racist comments. Greek and turkish cypriots live and lived in perfect harmony. They both had the cyproit way of life. It was the mainland turks we didnt like so they made up lies like the ones you just spewed to come and invade us (greek and turkish cypriots alike). Lots of older greek cypriots even peak turkish and there is turkish news on tv for the turkish cypriots. The main land turks have squatted in our occupided villages and desecrted graves. You should actualy know what you are talking about before u are racist without a right to be. There are thousands of greek refugees in new zealand an america so please refrain from racism--Slogankid 15:51, 30 September 2006 (UTC)
But Why are you so racist based on untrue properganda. how you won the trnc i will never know since ur racist against cypriots and clearly have a non npov
