The Nokia 3 is a Nokia-branded budget Android smartphone from the Finnish company, HMD Global.
Nokia 3 is currently the most affordable smartphone by HMD. It runs on Android 7.0 and uses a MediaTek system on a chip (SoC). The phone has a polycarbonate back shell with a metal frame, similar styling cue with Nokia Lumia 925.
HMD have said that they will provide regular software updates to the phone, to help keep users secure.
Release
It was announced on 26 February 2017, a day before Mobile World Congress started, along with the higher-end Nokia 6 (global variant), lower-end Nokia 5, as well as a reboot of the iconic Nokia 3310.
All of the Nokia branded phones are supposed to be launched in Q2 2017 but in India Ajey Mehta the vice president India of HMD global stated that Phones will release in June in India with made in India tag through Foxconn.
The Nokia 3 was released in India on 13 June 2017.
