Fair use rationale for Image:MaryRicahards.jpg
Image:MaryRicahards.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Misplaced Pages article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Misplaced Pages:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Misplaced Pages policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

February 2010 Cleanup
I removed a large amount of fancruft and single-episode, one-line references to other characters or speculation thereof (such as her nephew).
This are no references in other works to back up the original research contained within this article. If anyone has any knowledge of a reliable third-party reference that can be added to this article related to the character or Moore's portrayal, please include it. Editing 'In-Universe' For A Fictional Character
This is my first time here. I apologize if I miss or don't recognize proper protocol. I am open to correction. I am wondering how to approach a situation where, as it is with this 'Mary Richards' entry, it says: Mary applies for a secretarial job at fictional television station WJM-TV.
If we are editing 'in universe' and we understand from the start that Mary Richards is a fictional character, is it correct to say 'fictional television station...'? It sounds as if she, the character within the story, is applying at a fictional television station. So, Rhoda or someone could say to her, "Hey, didn't you realize that station doesn't even exist?"...lol...
This sort of question has come up for me before. Thank you and, again, I apologize for not being completely aware of protocol.
